Research on the Prepositions in Kuan Hua Chin nan

Kuan Hua Chin nan, which was organized with conversations, is an oral Chinese textbook used by Japanese in Meiji era. As an comparatively real record of the language visage of the Northern Mandarin in Beijing in the mid and late 19th century, this book has highly material value, and also occupies a veryimportant position in research of both Modern Chinese and the History of International Chinese Education. The preposition has changed a lot from the ancient to modern times, and even in the same period there are significant differences between the North and the South in prepositions, therefore thedevelopment and changes of prepositions has always been a focus in the research of the history of Chinese. Through a detailed research of the prepositions in Kuan Hua Chin nan, this paper tries to reveal some characteristics of the Northern Mandarin in Beijing in the late Qing dynasty.東アジアの言語と表
