Ghana struggles to cope with communicable diseases; an upsurge in non-communicable diseases related to tobacco use would be a double burden on health and socio-economic development. Despite country efforts in reducing tobacco usage and control, there is still no explicit National Tobacco Control Law. Prior to this study, no data were available on issues relating to the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) in Ghana. The study assesses the knowledge, attitudes, beliefs and practice of parliamentarians/NGO/Media personnel in relation to tobacco use and tobacco control
