Cooperative international development research : towards an enhanced application of Canada's R & D expertise to problems of the developing countries

Discusses the role of Canada and, in particular, of IDRC in applying Canada's domestic R & D resources to international development and in fostering indigenous research capabilities in developing countries. Policies and mechanisms of other industrialized nations are also discussed
