Meeting: MIMAP Annual Conference, Palawan, PHThe purpose of this study was to gather pertinent data information towards policy choices that affect the health system. The “MacroEconomic and Adjustment Policies and Health Care: Studying the Macro-micro Links” (MAPHealth) initiative concentrates on relationships between MacroEconomic and Adjustment Policy (MAP); health sector reform; and accessibility, utilisation, and quality of health care. Country teams include Mexico, Colombia, Thailand, India, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Uganda, and Burkina Faso. The particular nature of country-specific hypotheses resulted in some variation in the design and analysis of the project
