ABSTRACTExogenous antioxidant is required to prevent the occurrence of oxidative stress that can make cell damage.Tocopherol content of red fruit oil is thought to have biological activity as antioxidants. Tocopherol effectivelyprevent the lipid peroxidation and free radical formation. The objective of the study was to evaluate quantitaveconcentration and the effect of buah merah oil to tocopherol level in blood during maximum physical activitytreatment. Tocopherol concentration of buah merah oil in vitro was measured using Abe and Katsui methode byfluorometer.
