PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT BIDANG KESEHATAN DI ERA OTONOMI DAERAH

Indonesia's decentralization policy has been applied almost seven years. It was impact to all sectors, changed from centralization to decentralization including the health sector. The idea of decentralization were each regions (provinces) had authority to arrange their policy system on their own. The implementation community empowerment in health sector are important, because the impact of decentralization decreased the former pattern in health sector, like posyandu, etc. The way out to increase the already decreased former patterns were to build community empowerment. Indeed, the community themselves could aware about their health problems. The government either center or region only play their role as facilitators, with community as a partner. With these pattern, even decentralization policy system was a must be pattern, we could do the right thing to increase the community's health degree by practicing the community empowerment. The community themselves know and solve their own health problems, side by side with the government's health programs. Key words: decentralization, health community empowerment, health problem
