AbstractCesarean section rates in Indonesia increase almost double in the past five years, from 6.8% (2007) to 12.3% (2012). The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) target number 10 is to reduce inequalities in all sectors, including health. The study aims to explore socio-economic inequality and factors associates to caesarean section in Indonesia. This study was a cross-sectional study using data from the 2012 Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS).
