Nodal segment of INIVIT B-88, CEMSA 78-354, INIVIT B-90-510 and Cautillo sweet potato in vitro plants clone were conserved for one year in culture medium with abscisic acid 10.0 mg.l- with high survival and recovery percentages without subculture to fresh medium. Reducing of conservation temperature to 17 ± 2ºC decreased the rate growth in all clone and possibility their conservation for one year with high survival percentages. The reduction of salt concentration of culture medium to 50% did not decrease the rate growth in relation with a standard culture medium for this was impossible to conserve the sweet potato clones for a period over six month in this conditions.phytogenetic resourcesKey words: biodiversity, conservation, Ipomoea batat...
