This paper describes the elements that characterize innovation processes implemented by the founder member schools (leading schools) which has promoted activities of the Avanguardie Educative Movement together with the National Institute of Documentation, Innovation and Educational Research (Indire Agency). Innovation experiences have been analyzed by using a narrative tool based on the DigCompOrg Framework. This initial analysis led to identify some common elements among the 13 upper secondary schools examined.
