Regarding the second phase of the Teachers in Training project by the School Foundation of the Compagnia di San Paolo (2009-2014), the article reports on the process and results of the experimentation of an original online training device within the ambit of the Special Teacher’s Diploma Course (PAS) at University of Torino, focusing on possible approaches of university training of secondary school teachers. The results of the experience made it possible to outline – at least hypothetically – principles of didactic mediation that would valorize the inductive approach and social mediation in constructing professional knowledge in collaboration with knowledge of a more general theoretical nature.
