The study examines the relationship between background educational qualifications of students and their performance in the MBA examinations. It uses student’s entry qualification into the MBA programme at UDUS and their performance in the MBA examinations. The population of the study comprises of 212 graduates of MBA programme for four academic sessions which were randomly selected and withheld for confidentiality of the students’ results. A sample of 117 MBA students was selected for satisfying the requirements of the study. Student record (file) and senate approved results served as the main sources of data collection.
