This study was informed by the age-long abandonment of the girl child and denial of her rights and rightful place in the education and overall development of the human race. Evidence has it that the female children are not given equal opportunities for self development and self realization right from inception of life. The Early childhood care Education (ECCE) as constitution in the Nigeria system is perceived as potent instrument that can be used to redress some of the misgivings.
