We consider two algorithms such as reliable minimum energy cost routing (RMECR) and reliable minimum energy routing (RMER) to route the packets efficiently in ad hoc network .Energy effiecency,reliability and cost of the link is major issue in ad hoc network . RMER algorithm finds the efficient route to travels the packet end to end. RMECR address these issues by considering the energy consumption and residual remaining energy of node to deliver the pocket from one node to another node . RMER & RMECR are also compared with existing ETX algorithm for various parameters namely End to End Delay, Average Energy per Packet, Network Lifetime, Number of Dead Nodes, Number of Alive Nodes, Mean ETX and Reliability of route
