MODELING AND ANALYSIS OF TWENTY TONNE HEAVY DUTY TROLLEY

The aim of the project is to design a TWENTY TONNE HEAVY DUTY TROLLEY using 3D modelling software Pro/Engineer using. And conducting structural and vibrational analysis on Twenty Tonne Heavy Duty Trolley by applying different materials. The chassis and bogie are designed with five materials. Two materials are IS:2062E250BR, IS:2062E350BR used in designing of trolley, remaining three materials are EN-19, IS: 2708GR.3B, C40 used in designing of bogie. Because of scarcity of these materials we use Titanium-Steel, EN-19. In this project analysis work is done for shear stress, strain, total deformations and von-misses stresses. Analysis we are finding stresses developed on Trolley, Mode shape of the Trolley and thermal behavior. Now all the mining companies are using belt type, screw type conveyors because of regular maintenance and replacement of heavy duty trolleys
