The study aimed to investigate issues of disclosure in relation to HIV and AIDS. Based on the findings of the study, the researcher was able to establish an intervention programme aimed at addressing the barriers associated with HIV disclosure. Using a survey design, data was collected from a sample of 30 respondents consisting of 15 males and 15 female (n=30) that were chosen from the support groups based at one of the Hospitals in KwaZulu-Natal Province. All participants were aware of their HIV status, and had received post-test counselling and had disclosed in their support groups.
