This study investigated the networking behavior of immigrant entrepreneurs during two different phases of business (start-up and established). Networking was divided into three types: social, official and business. The survey was qualitative in nature. Data was collected through the use of in-depth interviews from twenty nine immigrant entrepreneurs. The results indicated that social networks which can be categorised as strong ties are dominant during the start-up phase of business. Business networks which can be categorised as weak ties are dominant during the established stage of the business.
