This article explains the concept of subjective temporality (s. t.) as time of feeling distinct from that of sense data. Husserl’s transcendental approach is criticized as it misplaces this distinction and deals s. t. as a mere product of synthesis made from a non temporal ego. S. t. is thus identified in the continuous self perception of the body. Sensorial data are localized in the body and perceptual data are subject to its kinesthesis. Hence the body is the real subject of the experience
