In this session, a panel of women scientists will share their stories about the intersections between their Christian faith, their scientific careers, and their personal lives. Panelists will describe their career trajectories and articulate how gender may have influenced the variety of courses and paths encountered over their lives. Other important influences, including mentorship, family, and the role of faith, will also be addressed. Finally, as faculty members at an Evangelical institution, these panelists have encountered a different set of responsibilities and prejudices than their colleagues who are men; these experiences have further shaped their positions as mentors to the next generation of women scientists
