Grief and trauma have been universal responses in parents who have lost a baby. The differences in how parents address their grief and trauma histories can impact the parent-child relationship with living children. This study intends to identify themes and the clinical implications of how bereaved and/or traumatized mothers and fathers interact with their living children and how the death affects their family\u27s daily life. Qualitative interviews will be conducted to explore how the loss of a baby through miscarriage, induced abortion, stillbirth, SIDS, relinquishment for adoption, and/or neonatal death impacts the parent-child relationship with living children
