The diffusion coefficients have been determined by measuring the concentration profiles using a radiotracer technique. The diffusion coefficient of iron at 850-degrees-C was about 2 x 10(-14) cm2/s and was independent of nitrogen content, whereas the values for sodium at 690-degrees-C decreased from 5.89 x 10(-13) to 1.74 x 10(-13) cm2/s with increase in nitrogen content from 4.12 to 8.09 at%
