Boksörlerde Esneklik ve Dengenin Direk Yumruk Kinematiği ile İlişkisi+

The aim of the study was to investigate the effects of flexibility and balance of trunk and lower extremity on the force and speed of direct punch, which are the most important determinants of performance. 20 healthy Turkish boxers were included in the study. Demographics (Age, height, weight, dominant hand, sport age) of the boxers were recorded. Biodex balance instrument (Biodex Medical Systems Inc., Shirley, NY) was used to obtain dynamic and static balance scores of the participants. The trunk and lower extremity flexibilities were determined through; Trunk hyperextension, trunk lateral flexion, trunk rotation, sit-reach, m. hamstring, m. gastrocnemius and m. quadriceps tests. Using video camera method, direct punch technique was recorded, and processed with MATLAB based software. Among the data acquired, for the normally distributed data Pearson correlation coefficient was computed, and for the data with non-normal distribution Spearman Rho correlation coefficient was computed. For the comparison of 3 weight classes included, Kruscal-Wallis was calculated. The results of the investigation showed that there is correlation between trunk lateral flexion of non-dominant side and the strength and the speed of the punch (r:0.54; p0.05), according to the non-dominant side measurements. In terms of weight classes, no statistical difference was seen in the strength and the speed of punch (p>0.05). In conclusion dynamic balance of heavy weight boxers was worse than that of other weight classes. It was showed that the flexibility of non-dominant side trunk lateral flexion has effect on the punch performance. It was understood that balance and flexibility should be considered for improving the punch performance and that balance and flexibility exercises should be included in the training programs. Bu çalışmanın amacı; boksörlerde gövde ve alt ekstremite esnekliği ve dengenin, performansın en önemli belirleyicilerinden olan yumruk hızı ve kuvvetine etkisini araştırmaktır. Çalışmaya 20 Türk amatör boksör dahil edildi. Tüm boksörlerin demografik bilgileri kaydedildi (Yaş, boy uzunluğu, vücut ağırlığı, dominant kol, spor yaşı). Statik ve dinamik denge Biodex denge (Biodex Medical Systems, Inc., Shirley, NY) cihazı kullanılarak değerlendirildi. Gövde hiperekstansiyon, gövde lateral fleksiyon, gövde rotasyon, otur-eriş, m. hamstring, m. gastroknemius ve m. quadriceps esneklik testleriyle gövde ve alt ekstremite esnekliği belirlendi. Video kamera yöntemi ile direkt yumruk tekniği kaydedildi ve MATLAB ortamında geliştirilen yazılımlar kullanılarak hesaplandı. Testlerden elde edilen ölçüm verileri için Normal dağılan parametrelere Pearson Korelasyon Katsayısı, normal dağılmayan parametrelere Spearman Rho Korelasyon Katsayısı verildi. Sıkletleri içeren 3 grubu karşılaştırmak için Kruskal-Wallis kullanıldı. Ölçüm verilerinin analizi sonucunda non-dominant taraf gövde lateral fleksiyonu esnekliğinin hem yumruk kuvveti hem de yumruk hızı ile ilişkisi bulunurken (r:0,54;p0,05).Çalışma sonucunda ağır sıkletlerin dinamik dengelerinin diğer sıkletlere göre daha kötü olduğu bulundu. Non-dominant taraf gövde lateral fleksiyonu ve rotasyonu esnekliğinin, yumruk performansını etkilediği gösterildi. Yumruk performansının artırılmasında esneklik ve dengenin göz önünde bulundurulmasının önemli olduğu ve antrenman programlarına dahil edilebileceği düşünülmektedir. Dengenin yumruk performansı üzerine etkisi ile ilgili ileri çalışmalara ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır
