In this thesis study; design, synthesis and characterization of poly (maleic anhydride-alt-acrylic acid) with biological activity and polymer/clay nanocomposites to be aimed. Poly (MA-alt-AA) was synthesized by complex radical copolymerization via charge transfer complex (CTC). Surface modification of halloysite nanotubes (HNT) with 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTS) was performed to obtain organic functionalized halloysite.
