In the present study, we investigated the effects of high fructose corn syrup (HFCS), which is a sweetener that is prevalently found in many food and beverages, comparing with sucrose which is known as tablesugar ,on maternal and fetus development during the pregnancy using histopathologic and biochemical analysis. For this purpose, pregnant drinking water in content of 15% HFCS and sucrose was administered to rats for 20 days.
