Le Mythe De La Prıson Dans Mıracle De La Rose (1946), Haute Surveıllance (1949) Et Un Chant D Amour (1950) De Jean Genet

The image of prison has always influenced writers, as a result of this influence,autobiographical, semiautobiographical and fictional works emerged as well as manyother works on the subject of prison. In this study, the problematic of the prison is dealtwithin the following works of the contemporary French writer Jean Genet, who isstigmatized as the marginal author and caused a crisis in the literary world, Miraclede la rose (Miracle of the rose, 1946) the autobiographical novel in which the writer sapproach on the subject of prison is mythical, the drama describing three criminals inthe same cell Haute surveillance (Deathwatch, 1949) and his one and only film thescript of which he wrote in 1949, Un Chant d amour (A Song of love, 1950). Diverssub-themes emerged as a consequence of Jean Genet s approach on the same subject inthree different genres.
