The present thesis was designed to identify the efficiency of clinical pilates therapy (CPT) on reducing fear of movement which defined as kinesiophobia on the patients who were diagnosed with rheumatological diseases. A total 34 patients were included in this study, 23 of those were in CPT group and 11 were in home program (HP) group. During six weeks patients in CPT group have been taken in exercise programme lasting for 1 hour in each session for 3 days in a week regularly. A home programme which aims reducing the existent functional disability and pain were shown for patients at HP. The intensity of exercises in both groups was increased each week steadily.
