This paper describes the design of a compact coupler with three loops with a center frequency of 2 GHz. Microstrip structures have similar characteristics with those of traditional quarter-wave segments. The use of compact structures made it possible to reduce the dimensions of the structure by 70% relative to the area of a standard coupler. Such a reduction in the physical dimensions of the device resulted in a 3% reduction in bandwidth.396-40
