Businesses that are built will not develop without capital. but most people are inhibited from starting a business because they find it difficult to get capital. With very limited capital and the difficulty of getting outside capital, it is difficult for small traders or large traders to develop their business. In the current era, there are many accesses to both conventional financial institutions and Islamic financial institutions offering credit programs and other financing strategies. Credit services and programs offered by conventional financial institutions with a strategy that offers KUR (People's Business Credit) products. Whereas Islamic financial institutions such as BMT offer products with a profit sharing system. The problem contained in this study is how is the perception of Muslim traders in Solo Pusat Pusat (PGS) towards capital loans in conventional financial institutions and Islamic financial institutions. The purpose of this scientific work is to develop scientific knowledge in the field of economics, especially conventional financial institutions and Islamic financial institutions as well as an evaluation material to obtain capital in establishing a business so as not to go bankrupt. The research method used is a qualitative method, which is a type of field research based on an interview with Muslim traders Pusat Pusat Solo (PGS). The method used in gathering data is observation and documentation. The results of research conducted by this researcher based on using the above methods that the perception of Muslim traders in the Solo Pusat Pusat (PGS) of capital loans in conventional financial institutions and Islamic financial institutions varies greatly. Some choose to make capital loans at conventional financial institutions. There are also those who choose to make capital loans at Islamic financial institution
