As cirurgias endoscópicas transluminais por orifícios naturais ou NOTES (Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery) significam um novo conceito de cirurgia, uma vez que são produzidas pela hibridização de endoscopia e laparoscopia, culminando em uma modalidade cirúrgica com ausência de incisões abdominais.
