AGGRESSIVE DRIVING DITINJAU DARI KEPRIBADIAN BIG FIVE DENGAN SELF CONTROL SEBAGAI KOVARIAT

Many traffic accidents occur mostly due to aggressive driving. Aggressive driving is an aggressive behavior as a result of a highway rage that can harm oneself and others. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of big five personality on aggressive driving with self control as kovariat. The research subject of 200 male students of SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo taken with purposive sampling technique. The aggressive driving measurement uses an Agressive Driving Behavior Scale (ADBS) adaptation scale. Big Five Personality Measurements Use scale adaptations of the BFI scale. The self-control scale uses an adaptation scale of the Tangney self control scale. Data analysis uses covariant analysis technique. The results showed that the self control had a significant effect on agressive driving (F = 15,255; p = 0.00 0.05)
