Endometriosis: The role practice nurses can play

It is estimated that as many as one in 10 women in the UK have this painful condition. The signs and symptoms of endometriosis vary in their severity and presentation, increasing difficulties with diagnosis. Earlier diagnosis and support may help women to manage the condition and its impact on their day-to-day lives. Endometriosis has physical, psychological and sexual health impacts on women’s, and their partners’ lives. Practice nurses are ideally placed to support women with endometriosis
