Test d'implantation de station sismologique RESIF sur la commune de Clévilliers (Eure-et-Loir)

The broadband construction project of the French seismological and geodetic network RESIF was based on a map of France with theoretical points of location of seismological stations to achieve the scientific objectives of monitoring the national territory. The actual station had to be within a 30 km radius of the theoretical point. When a "suitable" site was found (land belonging to a territorial community, accessible infrastructure flow, etc.), the prospecting required a seismological measurement over at least 3 weeks to estimate the quality of the place. This measurement was made under "campaign" (battery-powered) conditions and often required hiding the equipment during the test. Here, the operator makes the final configuration settings before burying all the equipment that will be recovered a month later.This observation site in Clévilliers now hosts a permanent station of the French seismological and geodetic network RESIF. RESIF is a national research infrastructure dedicated to the observation and understanding of the structure and dynamics of the Inner Earth. RESIF is based on high-tech observation networks, composed of seismological, geodetic and gravimetric instruments deployed in a dense manner throughout France. The data collected make it possible to study with high spatial and temporal resolution the deformation of the ground, surface and deep structures, seismicity on a local and global scale and natural hazards, and more particularly seismic events, on French territory. RESIF is part of the European (EPOS - European plate observing system) and global systems of instruments used to image the Earth's interior as a whole and to study many natural phenomena.Le projet de Construction large bande du Réseau sismologique et géodésique français RESIF partait d'une carte de France avec des points théoriques de localisation de stations sismologique devant permettre d'atteindre les objectifs scientifiques de surveillance du territoire national. La station réelle devait être dans un rayon de 30 km autour du point théorique. La prospection nécessitait, lorsqu'un site "convenable " était trouvé (terrain appartenant à une collectivité territoriale, courant d'infrastructure accessible, etc.), une mesure sismologique sur au moins 3 semaines pour estimer la qualité de l'endroit. Cette mesure était faite dans des conditions "de campagne" (sur batteries) et imposait souvent de cacher les équipements pendant le test. Ici, l'opérateur fait les dernières mises en configuration avant d'enterrer tous les équipements qui seront récupérés un mois plus tard.Ce site d'observation de Clévilliers héberge aujourd'hui une station permanente du Réseau sismologique et géodésique français RESIF. RESIF est une infrastructure de recherche nationale dédiée à l’observation et la compréhension de la structure et de la dynamique Terre interne. RESIF se base sur des réseaux d’observation de haut niveau technologique, composés d’instruments sismologiques, géodésiques et gravimétriques déployés de manière dense sur tout le territoire français. Les données recueillies permettent d’étudier avec une haute résolution spatio-temporelle la déformation du sol, les structures superficielles et profondes, la sismicité à l’échelle locale et globale et les aléas naturels, et plus particulièrement sismiques, sur le territoire français. RESIF s’intègre aux dispositifs européens (EPOS - European plate observing system) et mondiaux d’instruments permettant d’imager l’intérieur de la Terre dans sa globalité et d’étudier de nombreux phénomènes naturels
