In this presentation, participants will learn how reflections can be used by students to demonstrate learning by experience. Participants will be able to define reflection, articulate its significance in experiential learning pedagogy, and practice reflection for their own personal and professional growth. The presentation will begin with a discussion of reflection as an NSEE principle and as a common assignment in UNIV 1000: First-Year Experience. Participants will then be asked to write brief reflections based on their own experiences and reframe those jottings for other professional contexts such as a CV entry or an annual review report
