Rapport interne.This report describes a technique to build visualization applications using VTK library and components written in Tcl, C++ and Fortran. VTK is a software system for computer graphics, visualization and image processing. VTK library is written in C++ however it provides interfaces to languages like Tcl, Python and Java. Though it is possible to write a whole VTK application in scripting language like Tcl, sometimes it is desirable to implement some functionality in compiled language like C/C++ or Fortran, for instance to have access to features not available in scripting language or for efficiency reason.
