International audienceThe aim of this work is the implementation and the validation of the far-field calculation based on irregular near field measurement data. This technique allows the near-field spectrum calculation from the irregularly near-field samples, which are randomly distributed over a 3D surface. The spacing between consecutive near-field samples can be almost larger than λ/2. This irregularity is attributed to probe positioning errors during the antenna under test characterization. The proposed algorithm allows efficient processing of near-field data with known probe positions to determine the antenna far-field.
