International audienceThis work analyses the impact of channel access issues and packet losses on a distributed defective sensor detection algorithm. A theoretical analysis is performed to characterize the detection performance. Matlab simulation results for the detection algorithm are then provided. Finally, experimental results conducted on a real wireless sensor network involving the IEEE 802.15.4 standard are reported
