International audienceMost Software Architecture Description Languages (ADLs) lack explicit support for executing an architecture description. In the execution view, the runtime behavior of an architecture is simulated to validate its logic regarding satisfaction of behavioral requirements. In this paper, we present the executable viewpoint of SysADL, a SysML Profile for modeling the architecture of software-intensive systems, which brings together the expressive power of ADLs for architecture description with a standard modeling language widely accepted by the industry, i.e. SysML.
