Composite materials have been widely used in Electrical Engineering, and they have stimulated a growing number of scientific research, especially when it comes to energy savings. Soft Magnetic Composites (SMC) incorporate the attributes of different constituents. They can be designed to exhibit high permeability and to dissipate low Eddy Current (EC) losses compared to more conventional structures such as laminated steel. Nevertheless, electromagnetic properties of SMC are not easily determined. Numerical tools such as finite element method (FEM) are usually employed to provide a full-field description of SMC.
