International audienceMobile ad hoc wireless networks are characterized by the absence of central administration and any network element may be very mobile. It may exist no fixed element within an ad hoc network. In fact, within these networks, all elements must cooperate so as to create a temporary network topology which enables communication. To create this topology and carry data, ad hoc networks must use efficient routing protocols. In this paper, we propose a multipath routing protocol with low energy consumption in order to improve the performance of mobile ad hoc wireless networks.
