Single-directional linear type cyclic loading and bi-directional horizontal circle and square type loading test were performed to investigate the ultimate behavior on rectangular steel pier base-to-footing connection. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the seismic response of the anchor bolts under several loading types. The destruction nature of an anchor bolt and footing concrete is examined using 1/5 scale model. The experimental result for the monotonic loading test was verified by numerical analysis
