This paper discusses the access and utilization of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) for supporting farmers' daily life, including agricultural activities, in the rural area of Yogyakarta Indonesia. Differences in the geographical condition, socio-economic characteristics, literacy rate and the capability of farmers to access and utilize ICTs for agricultural activities were considered as important factors. A descriptive method was implemented using a mixed method. The results show that farmers have used electronic media, such as televisions, radios and mobile phones, to obtain agricultural information.
