Casuarina tree is used typically as windbreaks in farms that surrounded by dunes. Moreover, it can play a significant role in inhibiting nearby vegetation growth. Lab and field experiments were conducted to study the allelopathic effects of Casuarina equisetifolia leaf on seed germination and seedling growth. Various concentrations of leaf extract were prepared and used (0, 1.25%, 2.5%, and 5%) in the lab experiment.
