Jakarta State University. 2019. This study aims to determine the effect of inflation and interest rates on the Composite Stock Price Index based on valid and reliable data and facts. This study uses secondary data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The period used in this research is five years, starting from 2014-2018. This research is a time series research with the object of the Indonesian Stock Price Index (CSPI) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The method used is a quantitative method with multiple linear regression approaches. The sample of this study is the Composite Stock Price Index, inflation and interest rates which are limited in the monthly data for the 2014-2018 period. Based on the results of the Inflation data analysis, it has no effect on the IHSG as evidenced by the Inflation regression coefficient of 64.108 at a significance value of 0.988, so that the first hypothesis is rejected. Interest rates have a negative and significant effect on the CSPI as evidenced by the regression coefficient of -33408,855 at a significance value of 0,000, so the second hypothesis is accepted. Simultaneously inflation and interest rates influence the JCI is proven by obtaining a calculated F value of 47,511 at a significance value of 0,000.
