Hegemoni Kekuasaan Mitos Jawa dalam Novel Sang Nyai Karya Budi Sardjono

His study examines the Hegemony of Javanese Myth Power in Sang Nyai's novel by Budi Sardjono. The purpose of this study is to describe the imaginary line of Javanese mythical power hegemony in Sang Nyai's novel by Budi Sardjono and the imaginary line of ideology of the characters in Sang Nyai's novel by Budi Sardjono. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative, covering literature, writers, and readers. The object of research uses literary novels The results of this study are described as follows: (1) The imaginary line of Javanese mythical power hegemony with closely related to one another and inseparable, namely the South Sea, Mount Merapi, Yogyakarta palace, Nagaraja Cave, and Majeti Island. In the results of the study show the power in the imaginary that includes the power of reward, legitimate power, referent power, expert power. (2) imaginary lines of character ideology experienced by figures about Javanese myth relating to Nagaraja Cave, Majeti Island with the South Sea and Merapi. In the results of the study, the ideology of the figure includes the ideology of authoritarianism and the ideology of feudalism
