ANALISIS TINDAK TUTUR ASERTIF DALAM KOMIK POLISI DI AKUN INSTAGRAM @KOMIKPOLISI

Instagram is one of the most favorite social media among society. To date, Instagram is a place to participate, collaborate, and even promote. It leads to various ways to deliver an information or message, one of which is comics. The use of comic media can be found on the @komikpolisi Instagram account which implies the problem of violation of police regulations. Some speeches this comic contain utterances that express the truth of information and legal policies that are in effect. The statements of the problem in this study are (1) how is the meaning of assertive speech acts in police comics on Instagram media, (2) how is the function of assertive speech acts in police comics on Instagram media. It was a qualitative descriptive study, which employed a pragmatic approach. The data in this study were utterances that contained assertive speech acts. The data source in this study were a collection of comic conversations on the @komikpolisi Instagram account. In this study, reading techniques and note taking techniques, recording the data that contained assertive speech acts and understanding each obtained data, were utilized as the data collection techniques. Data analysis technique in this study included the study of data, coding data, analyzing data, and describing data in accordance with the theory. Departing from the two results of the analysis of the study and discussion, it can be concluded that the characters' speeches that were found on the @komikpolisi comprises several things, namely the meaning of assertive speech acts and the function of assertive speech acts. First, when it is seen from the aspects of the meaning of assertive speech acts in the @komikpolisi Instagram account, it can be in the form of boastful meanings, demanding meanings, complaining meanings, suggesting meanings, boastful meanings, stated meanings and notifying meanings. In the second aspect, the aspects of the function of assertive speech can be competitive, convivial, collaborative, and conflictive functions.
