PENGARUH SENAM YOGA TERHADAP TEKANAN DARAH PADA LANSIA DENGAN RIWAYAT HIPERTENSI DI PUSKESMAS ARJUNO MALANG

Background: Hypertension is a condition of blood pressure more than 120/80mmHg. Physical activities play important role for decreasing blood pressure. Yoga exercise is one of the physical activity which can be done by the elderly. Objective: The objectives of this research is to analyze the influence of Yoga exercise to the blood pressure of elderly with hypertension history in Puskesmas Arjuno Malang. Methods: This research is an pre-experimental with pre-test and post test design which including 35 respondents using Purposive sampling method. The collected data then analyzed by Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test because the normality test showed that the data is not a normally distributed. The measurement of blood pressure is done by Sphygmomanometer after the correspondents doing 1 month exercise by three times a week.
