GAMBARAN KOPING TERHADAP PASIEN HIPERTENSI

Background: Hypertension or known as high blood pressure is a chronic disease due to excessive and almost constant blood pressure in the arteries. Hypertension is also one of the many degenerative diseases that occur and has a high level of moltaritas and affects the quality of life and productivity of a person. The purpose of this study is to know the knowledge of patients in limiting the intake of caffeine. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a case study research strategy. Interview data collection techniques used 3 respondents who were used as sources, namely patients and 2 family members. The results of this study were obtained. The results of this study found 3 themes: (1) patient knowledge about the benefits of coffee (2) patients' perceptions of coffee that reduce dizziness (3) lack of adherence to abstinence from drinks. Discussion of the results of this study can conclude that coping research on hypertensive patients must be changed so that there is no wrong perception of the diseas
