EVALUASI PENERAPAN PROGRAM KELAS LITERASI PADA PEMBELAJARAN SEJARAH KEBUDAYAAN ISLAM DI SDIT AL USWAH SINGOSARI KABUPATEN MALANG

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the Literacy Class program that has been involved in the government program called “the School Literacy Movement”, which is aimed to improve literacy culture, especially for those that has started at SDIT Al Uswah, Singosari, Malang. This study uses a qualitative approach and the samples are the subjects of Islamic Cultural History teachers as well as students from the fourth grade (class IV). SDIT Al Uswah has chosen as a research site is because it is the only one school in Malang that has implemented the School Literacy Movement Program that has been planned by the central government since 2015. It is proved that almost 4 years only a few schools are able to and still run the Literacy Class program. The results showed that the Literacy Class program in the subjects of Islamic Cultural History runs quite well of dealing with the government programs related to the program of the School Literacy Movement, which there have been almost no schools that are able to implement the program continuously and being as a basic reference for learning in schools, so the researcher has three conclusions are : 1. the Literacy Class is a program that attracts students' interest; 2. Making students more likely to read than other activities; foster a literacy culture for all school residents
