Keywords: intensity of communication, prosocial attitude, parental role Communication between parents and children is essential to foster familiarity. When parents are actively listening to the child, the child's ability to express feelings and content is stimulated and increased. Moreover, if parents ask some simple questions, then the child will be easy and feel free to express the content of his mind and heart. So too are the parents who are dominant time outside the house. How often they spend time communicating directly or indirectly. In this research researchers use a quantitative approach with a correlation approach that is by connecting cause of consequence that aims to know the relationship between variables freely with bound variables. The methods of collecting data used by researchers include the distribution of polls. From the research results shows that the intensity of communication of parents and children is significantly positive towards prosocial attitudes. It can simply be concluded that one of the factors affecting the prosocial attitude is seen from a significant positive influence between the intensity variables of parental communication against the prosocial variable attitud
