GAMBARAN STRES KERJA PADA PENDERITA HIPERTENSI DI PUSKESMAS DAU MALANG

Work stress level is the reality of daily life that cannot be avoided, do to changes that require adjustment and the existence of heavy workload. Based on the results of a preliminary study conducted from 10 respondents interviewed found that 8 respondent (80%) showed signs and symptoms of work stress such as saying often feel tense, feel anxious, irritable, bored and like to procrastinate, including frequent increased pressure blood and headaches. Blood pressure or hypertension is a condition where arterial pressure is high with systolic pressure >140 mmHg and diastolic pressure >90 mmHg. The purpose of this study is to get an image of work stress in hypertension patient at Dau Malang Public Health Center. Methods : This study use a descriptive method, the population of this are all hypertension patients at Dau Malang Public Health Center. Samples of 66 people with hypertension, a purposive sampling was use in this study. This study used a standardized work stress scale questionnaire. Results : The results of this study indicated that patients with hypertension at Dau Malang Public Health Center have a high level of work stress as many as 23 people (45%) and most respondents are aged 26-35 years as many as 30 people (58.8%) and most work as farmers / labor as many as 32 people (62.7%).Conclusion : The result showed that respondent with hypertension at Puskesmas DAU Malang have a severe level of work stress. The majority respondent are at the age of 26-35 years and has the level education of junior high school and most work as farmers /laborers
