GAMBARAN POLAA DIET PADA KLIEN POST SYOK KARDIOGENIK

Changes in diet now lead to consumption of unhealthy fast foods, because they contain ofhigh calories, fat, protein, and salt, but are low in fiber (dietary fiber). Consumption of these foods will trigger increase of degenerative diseases such as heart disease. One of the disease is cardiogenic shock which is a complication of acute myocardial infarction clients. The habit of consuming foods that contain saturated fats can increase total cholesterol levels in the blood. Total cholesterol levels that exceed normal limits will play a role in the formation of atherosclerotic plaque that inhibits blood flow and contributes to the incidence of acute myocardial infarction. Preventing these events can be by limiting consumption of high-fat foods and changing healthy lifestyles. To overcome this, it can increase consumption of fibrous foods every day in accordance with what is recommended, which is 25-30 grams every day. The purpose of this study is to determine dietary patterns in post cardiogenic shock patients. This research method uses a qualitative approach carried out with a case study research. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. Data collection was performed on three participants and for validation using data triangulation. Data collection was conducted by semi-structured interviews. Data is analyzed using domain analysis. The results of this case study found four themes namely 1) Consumption of Low-Fat Foods 2) Avoiding Consumption of Coffee and Alcohol 3) Frequency of Diet 4) Stopping Smoking Habits. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the description of dietary patterns in post cardiogenic shock patients is sought to avoid the triggering factors for cardiogenic shock again
